Sphynx cat breed basics

The sphynx cat appears to be hairless, however this is not true. Sphynx cat skin has a texture like chamois and is covered with a very fine down that is almost imperceptible to both the eye and the touch. Lack of coat make sphynx cats quite warm to the touch. Some sphynx cats even have eyebrows and whiskers, though most do not.
